Four
Tri-State Wheelers do the Komen New Jersey Race for The Cure.
This great event for a great cause is held every year in Princeton, NJ
at the Bristle Myers Squibb Campus.
This year
joining the 13,000+ able-bodied participants were Tony Nogueira of
Glen Ridge, Jacki Daya of Matawan, Cary Gaul of Cherry Hill, and Ana
Sierra, of Maywood. All 4 racers were from New Jersey.
Tony and Ana race and practice with the Kessler Institute Sports Team
and Cary and Jacki race with The Children's Specialized Hospital
Lightning Wheels Junior Team. The Kessler Team is coached by
Angela Smith and Children's Specialized Hospital team is lead by
Trisha Yurachko.
Unlike
other events time is not important. It is the support of the Tri-State
athletes to support finding a cure for Breast Cancer that makes this
event noteworthy. Tri-State athletes want to show that just
because you are disabled you can and should make the best out of life. |
